About

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably looking to escape the 9-5 routine and the concrete jungle. Maybe you’re looking for a stress-free, creative, flexible working environment? If so, congratulations – PipeDream is the place conceived by and for people exactly like you.

Our goal is to be a unique base for digital nomads, freelancers, creatives and anyone who is searching for a more balanced lifestyle while working remotely. We have two gorgeous properties (yes, home) with amazing working spaces, but our real value lies in bringing together like-minded people to share experiences, laughter, thoughts and food with while pursuing your own (pipe)dreams. Recharge, unwind and be inspired in a place where the beaches run for miles. The surf is pretty epic, too.

Still not sure who we are & what we do?

  • Friendly hub for international people working remotely
  • We offer accommodation, surf lessons/gear and a luxury office space (maybe one of the nicest in europe?)
  • Amazing, diverse community – friends and networking
  • Good vibes only policy
  • Chilled location close to amenities and surf beaches
  • Team retreats (hosting workations, hackathons, etc)

Pipedream Team

Paul Yeomans

Pipe Creator

Paul was cut loose from his corporate life in 2014 and promptly plunged himself into a digital nomadic life style of travel, campervans, nature, surf and snow. Starting an online consultancy in fire engineering he worked remotely from beaches, mountains and cities across the globe. After a few years of this, he realised community and roots were missing from the menu of life, and thus, the concept of Pipedream was born. It was time to put down the backpack (for a while) and build something to fill this gap for both himself and other people in a similar place in the confusing path called life. Paul splashes, makes noises that can loosely be described a music, dreams about pipes and some day wants to be a pirate. Definately not a walking cliche with his growing passion for cold press juice, electronica, pilates and mindfulnessless. He also pretends he’s not addicted to sugar but needs to wake up and smell the toffee. Paul would love to go for a surf with you whoever you are.

Marko Panigua

Pipe Remote Emperor

Long time super budy to Paul, Marko has been managing a group of London based hostels. Marko and Paul dreamt of doing a nomadic project together since 2010, hence the name Pipedream, since it was taking so long to realise our dream and so many ideas fell through, it was beginning to feel like nothing more than a dream. Marko is based in London but comes over to Portugal from time to time to bring more good vibes, perhaps a little rum and always jokes. He is a musican, a philosopher with damned incredible hair and can fall backwards off almost any chair without spilling his drink.

Pablo

Pipe Site Manager

Pablo, as well as being ultra humble and friendly as they come, is a wizard with his hands. Previously he worked in Madrid in advertising amongst other things but like all of us here, he wished to be close to the ocean. He can build you a surf board from wood that will glide like a dream and just about anything else. Need anything during your stay, he’s there for you.
